WHITE ITALIAN MARBLES
Italian marbles are the ones with more long lasting history during the centuries, along with the Greek marbles. Roma Empire quarried and processed the marble from the Carrara Mountains to dress its sumptuous palaces and villas.
Now the Italian marbles come again taking the stage, and it is hugely demanded around the world for any kind of project in which the stone ought to be the breaking decoration.
Here in Spain the Italian marbles are imported in 2 ways, or in finished
slabs or in blocks to be cut and processed here in our plants.
A brief tour for the available Italian marbles that you can find here in
Spain, to be used in the inner market or also for export, as prices are steadier
from the imposed ones by the Italian dealers. There are many types, and usually
are a confusion with trade ground names, types, designs…as all of the blocks
are quarried in the same area.
Carrara Marble.

The most common and more competitive in price range. Its background (and
its price) varies from white to soft grey, and myriad of tiny veining crossing
the surface. There are many variations, from 45º veining, to brecciato desings.
Carrara Gioia marble.

Carrara Gioia is a solid white background marble, crossed by bold grey veining and punctuated with speckles against a stark white background. The classical Italian marble for excellence.
Arabescato.

A white pattern with grey undulations that circle white areas like
islands. There are many types depending on the quarry of origin.

Typically grey to pearl white in its background with straight and strong veining of dark grey stripes.
Calacatta
That marble has a brecciatto pattern, with swirling veining of different
tonalities, from light grey to gold.

Mix of a white and cream background tones, with its signature veining of grey and charcoal, creating a very dramatic effect.
Calacatta Caldia |
An impressive Italian material available in Spain in slab format. Its white-pearl background with wavy dark grey veining in a brecciato pattern produces a design that will enhance any ambience.
